Roquita Coleman-Williams is an Inclusion Strategist for F&H Solutions Group.

Roquita is a consultant, facilitator, and coach. She specializes in diversity and inclusion, executive coaching and in the design and delivery of inspiring leadership programs and keynotes at every level of the organization.

Prior to joining F&H Solutions Group, Roquita governed policy for the Memphis Area Transit Authority, Tennessee’s largest metropolitan transit agency. Her responsibilities included executive oversight, strategic planning, supervision of systems performance, legal and fiduciary responsibility including lobbying federal, state and local funding; and collaborating with senior staff for the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Transportation Administration (FAA).

For the past 22 years, Roquita managed market strategy and commercial relationships, as well as executed short- and long-term business strategy, for supply chain giants UPS and CN. Managing teams of as many as 300 sales representatives, she drove sustainable, win-win growth and built valuable relationships with supply chain channel partners, commercial real estate developers, transportation providers, asset managers, economic developers and other key transportation industry stakeholders.

In 2011 Coleman-Williams permanently changed the landscape in these male-dominated industries. She became the 63rd president—and first African American president—of the Memphis World Trade Club.

A few years later, the White House wanted to increase the number of women working in the transportation industry, Roquita was among the select leaders assembled by the University of Memphis Intermodal Freight and Transportation Institute to work with politicians, industry leaders, corporations and academic institutions advocating for policies that enable gender and minority balance in the transportation industry. She has been called on as an expert in diversity and inclusion by the USDOT, Fedex, Hilton Worldwide, City of Memphis, Urban League, League of Railway Women, Journal of Commerce, Cargo Logistics Canada and many others.

Roquita has been recognized nationally and internationally - Top 40 under 40, Memphis Business Journal’s Super Women in Business, Rising Stars of North American Railroads, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Distinguished Service Honoree– while promoting gender and minority balance across the transportation industry.

Roquita currently serves on Memphis Chamber board of advisors and the Women’s Foundation of Greater Memphis Board of Directors. She has leveraged a commitment to philanthropy and expertise in brand strategy in a rare partnership with international footwear brand, Vibram. Through this partnership, she contributes to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital’s mission to cure cancer.

Roquita holds a bachelors in science in education and masters in organizational leadership from the University of Memphis.
