Sociomapping is a new paradigm in analyzing, mapping, and improving team and organizational relationships. It is Real Time data collection, display, and discussion – no more waiting around for surveys to be collected.

A well-functioning team positively affects the performance of its individual team members. Understanding team dynamics is the first step to address challenges related to team performance. However, within a multi-person-team, there are hundreds of relationships that are very complex to analyze.

Sociomapping is used to simplify this process by:

How does Sociomapping work?

1. During a workshop, each team member completes a short online questionnaire: a set of multiple choice ratings related to the factors we intend to map.

2. Results are instantly visualized as a set of interactive sociomaps ready to open the discussion of the team development process.

3. Once all the participants’ answers are submitted, the system automatically generates individual and team reports.

4. Repeating the process over time provides a mechanism for: driving change, tracking progress, as well as building accountability.
