The Labor Relations Association of Passenger Railroad (LRAPR) comprises chief labor relations officers from commuter and passenger railroads across the country.
F&H Solutions Group (FHSG) founded the Labor Relations Association of Passenger Railroad (LRAPR) to allow collaboration among chief labor relations officers from commuter and passenger railroads about essential issues within the railroad industry.
LRAPR meets quarterly, where guest speakers are invited to discuss timely issues such as absenteeism, health care, pandemics, staffing shortages, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance, the impact of social media on negotiations and ratification, the Federal Employers' Liability Act (FELA), and more.
Becoming a member of the LRAPR community has enormous benefits:
- Access to F&H Solutions Group's exclusive Passenger Railroad Database (PRD), which houses more than 4,000 searchable, full-text arbitration awards from the commuter and passenger rail industry
- LRAPR News Flash - a weekly newsletter highlighting current rail labor relations events.
- Various pieces of training, including the Federal Railroad Safety Act (FRSA) and Hearing Officer Training
- Shared advice and guidance from LRAPR members about critical issues occurring at the different railroads
